Upgrading Mobos

So i recently got a second GTX970... why? Because it was SUPER CHEAP and brand new but now i need a motherboard that supports SLI and ive never switched motherboards... what do i have to do software wise before and after i switch?

You'll likely have to reinstall windows, especially if you're switching chipsets. Install the latest drivers and you're pretty much done. There's not much difference setting up SLi over a single card, other than having to use an SLi bridge and enable SLI in the Nvidia Control panel.

EVGA GTX970

8GB corsair vengence RAM

and i have a MSI H97 PC mate mobo
