500 GB HDD recognized only as 58.2 GB drive?

Check in Computer Management (search it in the start menu) under Disk Management, and see what it looks like from there.

Hello, so I got my hands on a random 2.5 inch HDD because I need one with my 120 GB SSD. So I put it in my system, it needs to format before use, it formats and voila, I get 58.2 GBs free? What is that? The drive on the computer this was tested on worked just fine and recognized all 490something GBs. What can I do? Model number: HGST HTS545050A7E680.

Yeah, 420 GB were unallocated, just fixed it. Thanks!
