Hi,

My onboard internet has stopped working (intel 1 gigabit). the error is "Invalid IP Address". I have checked (and replace) all of my ethernet cables, turned th router of and or (about 20 times), restarted my pc, re-installed windows and also running the pc bear-bones. It has been going on for a week. today in the middle of my pc usage the internet worked again. I turned of my pc 2 hours later. when I turned on again I found that the same issue has arose again. the orange and green lights are stuck on. I have tested the same connection on my laptop and it worked fine.

Any ideas???

^^^ This should work. If it does not then, if you have another HDD laying around you could try and load the original OS onto the extra HDD. Then load the Drivers for that OS and it should work. If not then your Ethernet port is bad
