I've been with ATT since they started offering dial-up internet.  Currently a Uverse subscriber (internet/voip)

I'm considering switching to cable (Comcast) and wondering if anyone else has done the same.

I guess my biggest fear is, do I get to keep my e-mail address's (main and sub accounts) when I switch.  ATT reps that I've spoken to fail to understand the questions.  I've got an @sbcglobal.net address, and they keep giving me info for @att.net e-mail addresses.

Only thing I know is that my e-mail address is like part of yahoo mail, as I can access all my accounts via the mail.yahoo site.

Any help you can share, I'll definitely appreciate.

Number 1 rule of the internet. Never use ISP's e-mail account. Stick with G-Mail or a free alternative. I've never been in this situation, but if you got that e-mail with the ATT service, I'm thinking you would lose access. Have you thought about contacting ATT about this directly?
