I know that the main VRMs are the important ones but is it normal for VRM2 (the 2 caps at the front of my card) to let out a slight buzz (need to be next to the card to hear it) every few seconds? I'd figure it's normal since card has been working fine for 6 months now but I guess I want a 2nd opinion. Before you say it's the fan, while it might be, it doesn't explain why it's not constant or why it happens every 5 or 10 seconds rather than being continuous or monotonous.

Sounds like a simple case of mild coil whine. It happens. It's usually just the combination of coil type (ie: did they use cheap coils that day in manufacturing) and the PSU. It will either disappear over time or you'll become so used to it you won't notice.

It is not usually indicative of impending doom.

Not entirely sure it's the coils since I can't see any coils in the front area of the card. Also, the PSU is supposed to be good quality. At any rate, it's working fine, has been for 6 months now and I was more worried of the fan being damaged but that also seems unlikely.

I did exchange my old TT PSU for this Seasonic mainly cause of Coil whine so it might be the card that induced it before or vice versa, At any rate, it's inaudible unless I have my ear literally touching the 10mm heatpip and facing forward.
