Opinions?

Go to solution Solved by Lolzious,

The V300 in particular is a bad SSD you can easily do research and see that it's bad

When I say underpowered I mean that the GPU doesn't balance with the CPU, i7 with a 960 isn't balanced.

Yes, I know all about how they switched to a worse NAND. Fact is, I have one. Inside my PC. And it's completely fine, much faster then any HDD.

Sure a 970/290x would be better balanced, but what if OP want's to render and doesn't care so much for 60fps/4k?

Besides, it's an i5. Don't open your mouth unless you know what to say.

So, just scrambled trough the internet and I managed to get this together:

  • Asus P8Z77-V LK
  • Intel Core i5 3570K
  • Asus GTX 960 OC 2GDR5
  • Kingston HyperX Fury 2*4GB DDR3
  • Kingston 120GB SSDNow V300
  • Cooler Master Elite V2 550W
  • Cooler Master N300

What's your opinion?

Im from Malaysia..... Wooooo!!! The land where 1 USD is 4.33 MYR...

PCPartPicker wont do for me...  :(

Why aren't you using the latest cpus from Intel?

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

Why's that? they perform better and you can get motherboards in the $120(US) range that have excellent features.

Uh.. What.

Ever thought people are on a budget? And FYI the SSDNow boots Windows 7 in under 10 seconds, and Windows 10 in under 5.

I was comparing this i5 3570K to an E3 1231 v3... It seemed to be almost head-to-head

Yes, I know all about how they switched to a worse NAND. Fact is, I have one. Inside my PC. And it's completely fine, much faster then any HDD.

Sure a 970/290x would be better balanced, but what if OP want's to render and doesn't care so much for 60fps/4k?

Weird thought it said i7, nevermind It's a decent build but that SSD is quite bad but shouldn't stop you too much from buying it.
