Hey Peeps :)!

When winter hits, I'm thinking of getting a new pc. Though I'm not quite sure if the build I've assembled, is quite good or not. So therefore I would like to hear you guys' feedback, and perhaps some good tips & tricks:) I've made a small little notepad which you guys can download and have a look at it.

Though if you're too lazy to download the attached file, I'll be a good guy and post a screenshot of it instead ;)

What is the system for? And have you tried to look at other e-tailers? Komplett tends to be in the more expensive end of the market (In my experience anyway).

Edit: Also, I know PCPartPicker doesn't support danish stores, but it is better at showing the parts than a screenshot that is partly in danish

Volbet: The only website I've found here in Denmark to be the cheapest is unfortunately Komplett. And also I've purchased a lot of my gaming peripherals at Komplett, so it is really the only website I trust, as there is a lot of scam on such websites in this forsaken country lol. And also, the rig is only going to be gaming, so no video editing or Photoshop or 3D rendering. Just pure gaming really :)

Bartekxx12 : Thanks for the suggestion, I'll consider it  :)!

And that is also why I put the item on the left, so that people can see the parts, instead of pasting in the URL n' all that mess :)

If it's only for gaming you don't need 16GB's of RAM , scale back to 8GB's. You also don't need 2 tubes of NT-H1. One tube will last a long time.

HAve you tried checking Dustin to see if their prices are better. I also get most of my stuff from Komplett (Mostly because I know a guy), but Dustin tends to have some better prices on some stuff. Plus they offer free shipping.

winter in denmark? that is a bit far, may i suggest waiting till we get comfirmed if games will need 6 or 8 cores ( BF4 ), and then choose. but 8320 / 8350 would be good decision anyway

That is most certainly true! It's just that my currently RIG is just being a pain with my lately :/ And I just want to change it fast :P That is also one of the reasons why I made this post, so if I got good feedback, I could perhaps purchase the RIg a bit earlier so I can change out my current one.

Alright, thanks for the feedback :)

I'll see if I can gather the exact same parts ( though with the new parts you guys suggested ) and then afterwards compare the price and see if they're cheaper :)

There are cheaper motherboards that perform just as well as the sabertooth. Don't spend so much just for plastic.

Get a 8320 instead. The 8350 is just a higher binned 8320.

Don't go below a H80i for a liquid cooler. Get a Hyper 212 Evo or NH-D14/H100i if you want higher overclocks and silence.

You might want to check out the 7970. It should be significantly cheaper, has more vram, and is nearly neck to neck with the 770.

16gigs is overkill even for light editng. 8gigs will be plenty for gaming.

Get a Samsung 840 (non pro) 120GB instead. It is much cheaper and faster.

Avoid greens as their performance isn't that good. Get a seagate barracuda instead.

Get another psu if you can. Cooler master psus are not as good as other options such as Antec, Be Quiet, Corsair, Fractal Design, NZXT, OCZ, Seasonic, and XFX.

No need to get aftermarket compound. The one that comes with the cooler will do better/just as well depending on how you would've manually applied the aftermarket paste.

From what brand do you suggest the 7970? Sapphire, MSI or ASUS?

They are all very good. Just pick the cheapest one you can find with a dual/triple fan cooler.

I'm in a little trouble :/ I don't know if this motherboard:

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, Socket-AM3+

Can be used on the AMD FX-8320?

It will work.

Alright, thanks for the feedback :) I really appriciate it :)! I've taken the time to re-assemble the build, with some of the parts that you have suggested!

Perhaps if you would like to add something to it, please feel free to do so :)

I'd probably bump up to a 800-850w bronze psu for some extra overclocking headroom for your cpu/gpu when you crossfire 2 7970's.

Other than that, it looks solid.

I'm not going to crossfire 2 7970's as I only want to play on 1 monitor, anything else just frustrates me and makes me uncomfortable while playing, sounds odd but it is true :P Of course I'm going to overclock the GPU & CPU, that's a must ;)

And also, yeah I might reconsider with the PSU.
