intel hd would be ok but as hirad123 stated, a new richland apu with some good quick ram like around 1866mhz or so and around 8gb of it youll be set :) the apu's is much more suited to what your wanting to do then the intel hd graphics are

Well, Intel HD graphics are enough and is quite cheap: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1m3hj

yeah but for the same price the apu is gonna do better... thats something amd does really well

Show me an APU build that's the same price with an itx form factor.

The intel build could be even cheaper: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1m8Rc

I don't think an APU build would perform better at the same price point.

i didnt have an old celeron in mind, i typically think of sandy bridge, ivy bridge and haswell off the top of my head because thats what my local shop has on hand, using the parts your basing off yes that is about as cheap as youll get i wasnt thinking quite that basic

Thanks for the Input, i think ive decided what to build

Cpu: Intel Celeron G1610 2.6GHz Dual-Core

Motherboard: Foxconn H61S Mini ITX LGA1155

Memory: PNY Optima 4GB DDR3-1333

Storage: Western Digital WD Blue 500GB

Video: PowerColor Radeon HD 5450 1GB

Case: Rosewill RS-MI-01 BK

Optical: LG UH12NS30 Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer

So far from what ive read the HD5450 sucks at gaming, but can handle blu-ray and passthru 3D to my tv. sooo what do you think? good enough?

You'll need a sandy bridge cpu just to update the H61 bios. I'd say it's easier to get a B75 mobo so you don't have to do that and you also get front usb 3.0.

You don't need the HD5450. The integrated graphics on the G1610 will do the job just fine.
