So I decide to make a super budget computer

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/UNuniQueLY/saved/1XUt

In total it will cost me 220 dollars if I get the prices I want (the psu is the only part that has not gone down its known to hit 20.)

For the os I want to give ubuntu a try as well as windows 8 which would increase it to 310 but I can reused win8 went I decide to make my more expensive build later on. I don't plan to game right away but may add a gpu later on. The point of the build is I just want to build something already most of the money I had for my plan build I need to use for something more important. Any feedback would be nice.

Ubuntu gnome beats Win8 (Same with Win7) in everything but app support. Don't buy win8 for this kind of budget, would be a huge waste...

Not to mention, for those 80$ you can fit in a cheapo 7730 (Or similar), which will run games really nicely on linux, and will struggle on some titles in windows.

Stuff I have I like: Moto G - Superlux HD681 Evo - Monoprice 9927

90% of what I say is sarcasm.

that cpu is horrible ! amd athlon dual cores are very weak. it has the performance of the old athlons 64 x2.

get the ivy bridge intel celeron g1610 + a mobo like the msi h61m-p31 (g3).it has almost double the performance.new arhitecture ,better for everything. or if you have the money get the pentium g2020.

in all honesty do you need this immediately? because if not save a little bit more money and go for an AMD richland APU, that way you can get decent graphics performance on a budget aswell. for example you could pick up an A6-6400k for $30 more, board will be same price
