Fans aren't recognise from my new Phantek enthoo Pro's fan Hub to my z77 Sabertooth mobo.

it use to register the 200mm front intake fan as the CPU fan but nothing else, besides my sabertooths factory mini fans it comes with.

How do I fix this? All fans are running yet can't be monitored through my mobo.

I've tried d/cing and reconnecting cables but that made it that I can't monitor the 200mm fan

Is the 200mm fan a PWM 4 pin fan, also make sure on your motherboard that the header is selected as PWM control in the BIOS.

I was just reading a thread about why it's like this

"RPM signal is read from the fan that is plugged into FAN_1 on the PWM hub and all the other fans plugged into the hub will. 1 be controlled based on the reading from that one input."

Ty I'll have a look for that when I get back from my course

Yes it only take the RPM of one fan so if you have a variety of different fans on the hub it will run them at different RPM's.

Stock ones that come with the enthoo pro

the 200 intake and 140 exhaust

and one CM fan on my 212evo

Oh wait I was confusing the Phanteks hub that you can buy separately and the one included on the case. For the one in the case it controls via motherboard but only powers fans via DC voltage control I believe it was.

Dw bro you're, that's understandable.

Yeah it's just a pain in the ass I that each individual fan is not registered

It's a unique fan hub, since it uses PWM control via the motherboard and a 12V line they ask yo consult the manual on, while the actual connections are only 3 pin fan connections.

I'd be interested to see if it is actually converting the PWM signal to DC voltage control however since they only have 3 pin headers.

Been caught up with other things.

Okay so the 4 pin connection on the hub connects to your Mobo (as the manual states)

The white coloured connector (the only white fan connection) is where you plug your cpu fan into. Whatever is connected to that white fan connection is what will be monitor (RPM)

My Enthoo pro's hub had the white connection on the bottom, my cpu fan cable was too short (note that this is the first fan hub I've ever used, and also that I didnt know about the white fan connection I naively thought every single one would be registered and monitored)

Just unscrewed it, rotated it 180°, plugged into the white connection. Boom job done
