Hello,

I'm planning on buying a new camera since I've been using my old compact camera for some years now and I feel the pictures is not as good as I want. So I have been looking around for sometime now and reaserched some. I have decided I want a mirrorless camera since I think I would use it alot more beacuse its a bit annyoing to carry around a big DSLR and that I would mostly leave it at home beacuse of the size.

When browsing around myself I have found the Sony A5000 to be a pretty good option since I don't have the biggest budget beacuse I'm quite young. It also has a basic objective with it so I don't have to buy one right at the start. But please  come with suggestions if there is any better options.

This is what I want the camera to have (wich the A5000 got)

-Ability to take RAW pictures (Pretty much everyone can as far as I have seen)

-Wifi and NFC

-A decent amount of lenses that fits. (Shouldn't be a problem I don't think)

-Small form factor

-16 megapixels+

-1080p 60fps recording

The ability to take RAW and the 16+ megapixels is essential since I'm going to edit most photos I take in Lightroom and Photoshop.

And also what objectives is a good choice to add later on? I will take a lot of different pictures but many is probably going to be landscapes or pictures from different cities around the world when I'm out traveling for example. But also some portrait stuff but not that much.

The A5000 is a good camera in its own right, but the price/performance ratio is kinda low IIRC. How much are you buying it for?

I can get it with an 16-50 objective and a 16gb SD card for 350 Euro

It looks good. The only downside for video, is that you cant connect your own mic. At Ieast I dont see any obvius ways to do it.

Yeah I have also seen that but I don't think I will do that much video stuff that I would need a seperat mic.
