slow boot? not sure why

Go to solution Solved by ExcitezR,

it seems like i have fixed it i restored to 4/7/15 or 10 days ago and it now boots fine... dont know what would have caused the issue

so i don't know why but lately it has been booting way slow than usual. the first part when it boots is fine e.g. the windows 8 sniping circle but when it come's to login it takes a long time about 50 seconds... then when i get to the desktop i have no icons on the task bar and nothing will open but after about a minute its all fine.

this is all on a Samsung 840 pro and it seems like the activity is normal when booting

You've powered on and off the PC 1938 times in 2 months?

Or is that total power ups and power downs on the drive since you've owned it?

How old is the drive itself?
