Hey Guys!

Im searching for a Gaming Mouse atm.

My old G700 is amazing, but the fact that its Wireless, and that the cable is so stiff is a dealbreaker for me.

So, i want to buy a new one. I was thinking about the Ikari Optical, since the Laser version is discontinued but im not to sure about that.

Maybe you guys can tell me some good Gaming Mice for ~70€, ~80US$ for Normal-Smallish sized Hands.

With my G700 im running on 1,6k DPI and thats fine, i dont need more than that.

All i want is a comfortable mouse to hold :)

Best Regards

Pascal

/edit: Oh, and, i dont need G Buttons that bad, i need a back and forward button on the side, that'd be enough

Sadly, as i live in Germany, i cant find the Naos 8200 anywhere.

I was thinking about the Roccat Kone Pure, hence the XTD costs like 90€ over here and i dont feel like its worth it.

G9x isnt for me, since the side buttons are kinda squishy.

And the Sensei seems kinda uncomfortable, looks ambidextrous, not for me.

I'd like a mouse with the ergonomics like the Mionix Naos, or Steelseries Ikari. Sadly, it seems the options are kinda limited.

Thanks anyhow mate! Maybe you have some more recommendations after my statements, or someone else. Would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards

Try and look at the Func MS-3. Sort of the same ergonomics as the NAOS. http://www.amazon.de/Func-MS-3-Gaming-Mouse-Scroll-Rad/dp/B00AF14O2E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1375107692&sr=8-1&keywords=func+ms-3

Took a look at it aswell, do you think its fine for small-normal sized hand? Since linus said something its optimized for larger hands so i didnt really concidered the Func

Btw, thanks man, u rock :)

It should be fine. Since you are sort of claw gribbing it should be fine. I have average sized hand and it fit me fine, and i just palm the mouse, nothing fancy.

Edit: idealy you could go to a store to try out different mice and see how the shape and size fits you. It's a difficult thing buying mice over the internet

You can also consider Cooler Master Spawn:

http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-Spawn-Optical-Switches/dp/B004RJJMBI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1375109901&sr=1-1&keywords=cooler+master+spawn

Not too pricey and it uses an optical sensor, and one of the better ones for FPS. It's not a big mouse, I have the CM Xornet which has basically the same body but different everything else. I'm Asian and I ain't a big guy at all, far from it, and the Xornet fits perfectly in my right hand...here's a pic, I happen to have the Kone XTD as well, though big, it fits comfortably in my hand due to its ergonomic design.

But if you've decided on the Func, it's a great choice as well.

Hey, hey. I'm going through the same thing!

I just bought a Razer Abyssus due to the sensor and physical dimensions (small) but also considered the CM Storm Xornet/Spawn and Thermaltake Azueres Mini (among the very smallest). I'll probably buy a Tte Azueres Mini soon to compare to the Abyssus (though the sensor on the mini has a bit of prediction).

I use the Func MS-3 at work and while it's comfortable to work with, it's a bit too big (size and weight) to aggressively move around with if you're a claw/finger gripper with small hands (me). Compared to the Abyssus, Mini, or Spawn/Xornet, the MS-3's characteristics make it a bit sluggish and relaxed (did I mention that it's really comfortable?)

I got the Sensei and it really fits my hands amazingly well. Quite happy with it! :)

The G400 is not a bad choice for a small mouse imo. Just realized you got your mouse already. Be sure to click mark solved button beside the best answer so you can mark this thread as answered. :)
