Only thing I can think is power and heat. Other than that, maybe bad performance in GameWorks games, but that's nothing to worry about.

well the only bad news is (depends on how you look at it) it's a 290 refresh..

but everything else is good.. you get 8GB of VRAM, and it's better than 970 in price/performance standpoint

if i were to choose between a 390 & a 970 today, i'll get the 390

i7 4770 w/ Hyper 212X | Asus Z97-C | 16GB DDR3 | Inno3D GTX970 w/ Kraken G10 + Corsair H75 | Crucial M550 128GB SSD & 1TB Hitachi HDD | Cooler Master HAF XB Evo | Win 7 64

What do you mean GameWorks games and why?

Games that use nVidia GameWorks, because nobody takes the time to optimize for them on AMD cards. It's not a big deal though, performance will only drop if you turn those features on.

Gameworks features perform bad on both NVIDIA and AMD so if you use that to differentiate you're splitting hairs.

390 is a good buy. Unlike the inital hawai reference launch in 2013 these do come with good coolers so they run cool and quiet. Drivers are also good. So it seems like a good buy if you can get it at the same price as a 970.

Is there anything similar to Geforce experience but for AMD?

amd raptr... but don't expect it to perform as smooth as geforce experience though

I don't think GeForce Experience is all that smooth myself. It loads so slowly and the recommendations it makes for game settings are horrible, it's like it wants to optimize everything for 45 fps instead of a smooth 60 fps.

Not enough for crossfire 390s, can get unstable. You may be able to squeeze in SLI 970s.

Is this ok for 2 way crossfire and overclocking?

It's excellent, but Newegg actually has a better Antec TruPower 750 80+ Gold for $54.99 after rebate if you're ok with having a non-modular power supply that is of better quality.

I'd go with this instead

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case
