How about a r9 280? Is it within the budget (sorry I don't know the Swedish currency)

When you say ''standard PSU'' what does that mean. Is it a stock ATX PSU or a piece of shit from Packard Bell that can't be changed out, if it is a standard ATX then I would scrap it and get a nice little 450w XFX unit.

When you build a new system in the future you can remove and re-use it.

If it's at all possible to budge up to ~1300SEK (though if that's too much then no worries), I'd definitely look at the GTX 750Ti. Very nice card, no external power required, consumes only 60w.

What are you going to game on it? And a 750ti is probably the best you can get for the money. But isn't the CPU a bit on the weak side for a minecraft server? Or it probably works fine for 10ish people but more will probably be laggy.

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

I have a much better rig already. I thought it might be nice to allow this machine to be more of a gaming machine.

Really? I thought that this CPU would be fine. I'm not looking to do more than 10 people anyway. It'd be a private little server for friends and family. If I wanted like 32 people, what sort of CPU would I need?

That CPU is fine, I've run servers with 40 people on with lesser hardware than that :P
