Hey guys!

I am looking to upgrade to a new PC system, and I wanted to ask you what components I should choose. I made a lot of research and thought of possible systems, but there are simply too many optiions and so I would apreciate some advises from you. I hope you can create a nice system and post links to the parts below. I also don't have any specific direction, e.g. X99, liquid cooled, whatsoever - it just needs to be the best possible system under 1500$.

I've a lot of experience in building PCs, but times got harder and community advises are a great way to get good independent recommendations.

Thank you in advance,

Martin

PS: Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Austria :)

first off, there is no "best system"

it all depends on what you're going to be doing.

that brings us to the question on everyone's mind:

what will the system be used for?

EDIT: post budget in your local currency, as prices will differ from place to place either way.

Do you need a OS? Monitor? Mouse and keyboard?

I am going to use it mostly for gaming, like GTA 5 and many AAA titles like AC and so on, but I also want to do a bit of content creation, as I'm producing games as a hobby.

And to the topic currency: I noticed that your price in $ is about the same in €, so a 350$ gpu will cost 350€ in Austria

Nice color coordinated build. Checks all the cool things. Pretty overkill for 1080p but whatever.

I could even change the i5 to an i7 4790k, still in my price range, but the Zotac 980 pulls up to 470w! Perhaps I should change it to something like a 980 G1 from Gigabyte, I mean there's only about a 4% difference in terms of performance and bang/buck is much better.
