My ram is only 50% usable... Pref. would not like to open the case, how to solve this?

What motherboard, what specific RAM sticks, where they working before? How are they installed?

 

We can't just make it automagically work...

Ram: Nothing special DDR3 Ram (Single channel)

 

They didn't work anyways (Hardware manager says "Hardware reserved")

Okay, 'hardware reserved' would mean that it's been dedicated to integrated graphics. See if there's something in the BIOS that'll let you disable integrated graphics - make sure that you don't have any display connectors plugged into the motherboard.

 

And please give absolute specifics next time, what specific RAM sticks, what specific motherboard?

Oh sorry, forgot to put mobo in... :(
Its an ASUSTeK P7P55D
