CPU- AMD Sempron 3850 AM1 1300 MHz Socket FS1b 

 

RAM- Crucial 2GB DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) CL9 Desktop

Motherboard- ASRock AM1B-ITX LGA AMD1 Sockets A & E Quad Core mITX AMD Motherboard

HDD- WD 80GB PATA (IDE) 3.5" Internal Hard Drive 

 

Case-NZXT Source 210 

DVD Drive- Black SATA 24X DVD Burner

PSU-Corsair CX 430

No. The drive is IDE and the motherboard uses SATA. Motherboard will not work in that case either.

yes get a sata. case is fine. a smaller case might make more sense actually. Are you trying to use old parts that are lying around?

Actually, @Godlygamer23 is right. The Source 210 doesn't support ITX.

you dont really need to screw eveything in tbh its a budget build anyways, not worth changing cases. unless you have to buy it new anyways.

I'd suggest something like a Fractal Design Core 1000

Well if you want to use the system, yes. No, you don't need a bigger case. You need one that supports the ITX motherboard specification.

Well, what's your budget for the build, and more importantly for the case?

$150 TOTAL BUDGET -          Price for the Case around maybe the Source 210, give or take a few bucks, or the cheapest case that will fit the ITX mobo

cm elite 110 or cm n200 would work . But really if you are going for an ultra cheap build, then anything will do really.

As a usable machine its also not that very usable, so decide carefully maybe with windows xp it will work ok.

 

Im not sure how it works over there but having a system thats can atleast run chrome normally might be easier to sell or gift to someone.

it will work. but it cant really do any work. so you kinda end up with a bunch of hardware thats not so useful, other than diagnosing issues and what not.
