So I've had the S340 for nearing a month now. It's already met two system (lga 775 and a lga 1150) and two GPU's (gtx 260 and gtx 570.) Today I added another two fans for intake (2x140's intake + 2x120's exhaust) and it seems to have helped a lot. My 570 doesn't really hit above 75*C with my fan curve on it, and I'm down for sli later. BUT, seeing as the S340 isnt particularly airflow optimized, would it be ok to SLI some fermi toasters in there? I'm concered about the GPU temps moreso than anything else, I mean yeah the side panel gets warm to the touch but oh well it'll live, but with only 2x140mm fans pushing air and none of it specifically going to the GPU's unless the fan is set on hell, would the GPU's bake themselves or will they be fine? I have already tested it, and the shutoff point in 88*C for my 570, which does seem odd but it overclocks well and underclocks if it get's passed 86*C. Will I have to ghetto rig some fans to give them some extra air or are the alright?

Well you should probably have another intake for positive air flow. This will reduce the amount of dust getting into your system and therefore improving your airflow.

Look at the fan mounting options. Besides I have 2 140's for intake and 2 120's for exhaust. It's the lightest amount of positive really just to say I have positive airflow. On another note, the intake is filtered so I'm good on dust. The S340 is a very dust free case to begin with.

Well I dont know who said that, but the S340 is definitely not an airflow optimized case...

two 140mm fans are enough as you will move air across the system and out the back, so unless you have a rad in the front the GPUs should get fresh air easily

sorry for the misunderstanding I meant to say it ISNT particularly airflow optimised because it sure as hell isn't. Not saying it's bad airflow it's just that other than the fans there's NO airflow so I'm just trying to make the gpu(s) not starve. Btw I have the 2.5gb 570 so don't think I'm a complete dumbass for sliing the normal 1.25gb cards.

First of all why would you want to get another 570 and SLI them?

well it's just a thing I guess. I love fermi and I'm not giving it up till it just doesn't run a single thing. I could go the easy way and pick up a 590, but the lack of VRAM would hold me back. I could get two 580 3gb's but that's outta budget. So I have to snag another 570 cheap and grab a motherboard as well. I'd rather have two 570's than a 970 just because I love fermi so much. Call me an idiot or whatever I really don't care.
