When will future games use 4gb of vram (Or more.) commonly? I'm worried because I own a GTX 970 and I want to know when I might have to upgrade.

I wouldn't worry about 4GB honestly, I still run 2GB on my 760s & play in 3D which is like 1440P. No issues, basically maxed vram but haven't noticed anything.

GTA 5 is the only game that actually uses more than 2GB of VRAM. BF4 is pretty damn close to using all of it too.

maxing 3,5 gb on 1080p is pretty hard lol, only modded skyrim can do that. you'll be fine for the next 2 years, as long as you play on 1080p
