Well last year I had problems with customer service and nobody would help me with my issue so I spent a few whole days looking for his email xD

That's hilarious xD

It's just so stupid that you can't order one. You could just go to the MicroCenter and buy one, and use the excuse: "This was the last one they had and it was a really good deal" Then throw away the receipt so you can't return it. IMO, you should be able to manage your hard-earned money and spend it on your own. If this is what it takes, you can show them this note and pitch this argument.

It's pretty bullshit, I spend all year preparing for the craft show and make cards to sell. I get like $500+ a year and I have all of the shit worked out. Legit business. I may have to act like a phsyco to get them to let me buy the motherboard... don't do a damn thing they say because I have nothing to lose. It's pretty childish but I guess that it's a last resort.

No it's not. There are plenty of other options. Just tell them where you're coming from, andd make a legit argument that's valid. Tell them why it will be worthwile.

To be honest, getting a replacement will also be "new stuff," if that's what your parent's are so opposed to.

I tried to tell my dad. I told him that they would need to go through so much to fix my issue without a CPU. I told them that they don't care about their customers (hence their terrible phone support and 100% automated RMA system). They are not able to refurbish my board and they would be at a complete loss. He said "I'll get cheap shipping." I did the math and with "cheap shipping" it'll take two weeks which is approximately 1/6th of my entire summer for a pointless RMA attempt. I told him that they will have no proof of my issue or a way to find it without a CPU (only under load). He said "They made it. They have a way." That doesn't matter, though. Even if they do find it my board is beyond repair. They will just say that the bent pins void my warranty so they don't have to deal with me.

How did it work out?

I'm going to just sit down and talk to him about it, point out the facts. He is about to buy a boat so I really don't know if this is a good time. The optimal situation is to just go to Microcenter and get the Dell 34 Inch Ultrawide (price match Newegg) and an Asus X99 Pro. He offered to pay for the monitor (idk about that anymore but whatever) and I would pay for the board. I really don't see anything wrong with that, I screwed up the board so I pay for it. Seems fair enough.

A question about your Titan X, why did you contact nVidia support rather than the brand you bought your old 780 from?

Long story so here's the TL;DR:

GTX 970 defective, can't return or RMA -> GTX 960 due to loss of money (overheats 'cause fans NEVER turned on) -> GTX 780 (manufacturer sample)  from VP of GeForce becuase of my bad luck that starts artifactng -> due to no way of RMAing the card (manufacturer sample is like that) I email Jen-Hsun Huang -> I get a "comparable card" (his words) in the mail.

Sorry for being late, but what do you mean with "-> GTX 960"? You bought a 960?
