Box Hoarder

My flatmate was installing shelves in her garage yesterday. She was yelling at me if I wanted my 650D case box, (Garage is downstairs) I forgot I had it. I would have kept it but im trying to tidy up and its her garage. Also just emptied thr box my toolbox came in. Was full of paperwork and games.

Have lots of shoe boxes in my wardrobe.

I just threw out a lot of boxes.. after over a decade of "collecting"... and it's already filling up again.  I had the hardest time throwing out my PS3 and G27 boxes.  I still have the box from my amp from 10 years ago.  

 

Though some boxes you keep... like the ones that came with the HD650.   For computer parts, I try to keep it till the warranty runs out.... like my power supply, video card.  They also make handy cable containers (cable hoarding... but a story for another day).

I have a huge pile of boxes. I even keep shipping boxes sometimes because I feel like they may come in handy.

Boxes boxes boxes... Do what you want with them. I'm another 'hoarder' too. I have bookshelves loaded with all my computer components' boxes and I have some boxes in the loft too. It's all just to do with whether you want the boxes or not. I dunno why, but I like having the boxes for items. Just means that if I ever need to put them somewhere, I have the box for them! I think that's why. Haha

i keep everybox,some for RMA and others i just like the looks etc,even got my r3 box under the bed

Speaking of old stuff, I can't seem to throw away some of my old hardware like the Voodoo3 2000 video card. Not sure why I have an overt attachment to it...it may be because it was the first card I bought with my own money to play GTA 1 and Quake.  I've exchanged and sold cards from that point on.

I try to keep my monitors boxes. I used to move often in the past and I found it was the best way to move and protect them the best. They can break so easily. With the orgininal boxe, you have a handle or something and it is easier to hold and "stash" in the truck.

I feel like i keep every damn box lol.   Sometimes i even keep the package material..  Its just so handy to have around to reuse those airbags

I keep almost almost all my boxes, i still have my box from my CM Storm scout from about 4 years ago! lol

once i build my pc i'm going to put all the boxes up on display like the cpu box, motherboard box, graphics card box, :D

I usually keep them around for a short period of time to ensure everything is working.  At most, I keep most CPU, GPU and motherboard boxes and the rest are recycled.
