I was playing BF4 when I noticed my GPU started reaching 80c... That's not normal, I normally see it reaching 71c MAX.

Tried replacing the TIM but didn't help. Checked if fans were actually doing anything, they work. What the hell is going on here? It actually decided to TDR on a stable OC even.

80c is not bad.  If you are worried, try increasing the fan curve of your gpu and case fans.  Summer is here, and hotter ambient temps mean hotter running temps.

Well, it just started reaching 80c and the temps in my room hasn't changed. I reinstalled drivers and bios and now it's maxing at 61c. Gonna try to get my OC back because now it's running 1519MHz.

It all depends on the load.  Some loads are more intensive than others, and cause more heat output.  Just because it says 100% load doesn't mean it is at its peak temp.  Maybe that particular zone in BF4 was a GPU cooker, I don't know.  If you want to know your GPU's true peak temp run it through FurMark for 15 minutes.  That's your best bet for getting consistent temperature readings before and after overclocking.

Like I've said, I normally NEVER reach 80c. Even in Valley, I was peaking 80c and I've ran that tool a million times before without an issue.

Anyways, I've went back to stock bios and it was fine and now I'm going back to my OC and I'm reaching 70c again, it's practically back to normal now. No bloody idea what caused this.

Didn't see that you changed the bios.  Using a different bios could have changed a number of things, the power draw, the voltage, the fan curve, as well as the target temp.  Each of those things could have affected the heat output of the card.  Also, by default those cards are meant to have a temperature target of 80c, at which the card will start to increase the fan speeds and/or downclock the card.  Most likely the other bios has a target temp of 70c.  I would say it is a bit overkill since these cards are meant to run at 80c without any problems.  Also if you wanted to change the target temp you can easily do that with MSI afterburner, or evga precision.
