ATM I have a 970, but I am going to refund it to get an MSI r9 390. once I take out my 970 and put in my msi r9 390 can I just turn my pc normally and put the CD that came with my MSI r9 390 and just install drivers like that? Or is there something I have to do before I install my 390?

Un-install the nvidia drivers and download the amd drivers from their website. Btw, why would you return a 970?

Fairly loud coil whine =( and scared of the 4gb vram, don't think it will do well in 2 years and the 390 is slightly better overall so If I can get a slightly better card why not? But the main reason is coil whine other than the vram and coil whine I love. It
