guys i'm trying to format my flashdrive so i used those 8 steps to format but when i on the 8th step it says "0 percent completed" then "DiskPart has encountered an error: the parameter is incorrect."

what must i do now?

I need help please................

Right click on the drive when looking at your files under computer, after right clicking there is a format option and basically say yes until it formats, it knows what options to pick.

You should update the OP to include the fact that it's saying the drive is write protected.

 

First thing I would do is check to make sure your USB drive doesn't have a write-protect switch on the drive physically. This was really common with older drives, SD cards, etc, but isn't very common anymore.
