Many have problems with cooler software. It is sometimes poorly written and does not play well with windows. I have never used it opting for manual thermal control (rheostat) as it offers the same functionality (with user input) but with no crap to interfere with the OS. Yea, it is kind of like babysitting but it works without the BS problems that are usually encountered with "cooling system provided software".

Do a system restore as it will rid the system of the poorly written software.

Did I help you to fix your problem or at least did offer somewhat valuable advice? Consider giving my post a "informative" or "thumbs up".
