I Just bought black ops 2 on steam and when I try to open it the monitor loses its signal anyone have an idea why this is happening plz help

Recently bought black ops 2 on steam when I start it the monitor loses displayport signal when I tab out it works again what is wrong?

Nope up to date but still the same problem

alright fixed it just optimised it with geforce experience and worked for some reason thanks for trying atleast

Might have been the resolution setting for the game that was causing the problem

 glad you figured it out, but just make sure you don't rely on geforce experience to give you the correct settings.... time and time again it trys to get me to run games at non native screen resolution or with settings turned down way below what my rig can pull...
