My Hackintosh Build

Hi,

these are the parts I used in my hackintosh build:

 

CPU:   Intel 3570k (Cooled by Thermaltake Macho 02)

GPU:   Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II TOP

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H

RAM:  Corsair Vengeance Low Profile Memory 16gb

SSD:  Samsung 840 Pro (OSX)

           Samsung 840 (Windows)

PSU:   BeQuiet Pure Power 630watts

Fan:    3x BeQuiet Silent Wings 2 140mm

 

There are a few black sleeved cables(like pci one) that should arrive next week for the 24pin and others.

Nice!
I was thinking about running OSX as well, but I think I'll go with linux. Does OSX run well on that sysetm?

Anywho, nice build. What CPU cooler is that? It looks familiar

I use nearly the exaxt same system. The only difference is that I run a EVGA GTX 680 Mac Edition

OSX runs fine. It's still have some bugs, but you will never notice them.

Nice and clean build, I think you can manage the cables a bit better though :).

My build:  Leviathan  Case: 900D  CPU: i7 3770K (watercooled)  Mobo: Z77X-UD5H GPU: EVGA GTX 780 Hydro Copper GPU: MSI GTX 780 watercooled PSU: EVGA 1300W G2  RAM: 32 GB Corsair Vengance  HDDs: 1 x 120 GB Intel 330 SSD (OS X); 1 x 256 GB Samsung 840 pro (Windows 8); 2 x 2TB Seagate Barracuda (RAID 0 Data OS X); 1 x 3TB Seagate Barracuda (OS X backups)  Monitors: 1 x 24" Apple LED Cinema (center); 2 x 23" Apple LED Cinema (surround)  Watercooling: 3 rads, CPU, GPU, GPU, MCP655 pump, Lots of fittings, EK reservoir, EK UV Blue coolant.  Updated build: Leviathan 2.0

Other than some minor configuring issues, it runs seemlessly.

Internal sound card just won't work.

 

You could use a FiiO E10, it's plug and play

So I just installed the NZXT 24Pin extension cable and tidied up the other cables as well. Looks a little bit cleaner now, I think :)

Little update : Removed the drive cages and installed the ssds on the back of the Motherboard tray. Let me know what you think!
