Fresh Install without Product Key

Hey everyone,

 

I have installed some old parts into a case with a salvaged hard drive for my brother, but Windows 7 has kind of forgotten how to work.

 

I would like to do a clean install of Windows, but I don't have the product key. Is that possible?

No, not really you have to buy a new license.

Product key is required for registration of the product once reinstalled. You, could just reinstall it w/o the product key, but after 30 days the wallpaper will change to black, many features will be locked out, and you will get messages on the desktop saying "Purchase a genuine copy of windows" blah blah blah. 

 

Had to deal with that crap for like a month after upgrading my motherboard in my testing rig.

I think you can get a programme that tells you your product key or something
