Well, a lot of those fog machines use a pseudo oil to get the desired clouds or, fog. It can often leave a residue on objects its in contact with for too long, and believe me. The last thing you want is that shit pumping through every single computer and server rank in the new office getting oily residue all over every motherboard, wire, and surface. Which, in theory, could end up shorting things out.

 

Hate to kill the fun like that, believe me, that was a mod I wanted to run in my computer. But, it was c02, and not fog machines. Wanted my computer to boot up, vents along the top to prop open and a thick fog roll out whenever i turned my computer on or off, as if venting coolant.

A bucket of dry ice might work instead. Just make sure to add water to it before the tour starts to get the evaporation really going.
