So in the next few weeks ill be selling one of my graphics cards, but ive misplaced the original packing it came in. I will most likely be sending inter-state so im looking for some tip on what too send it in and how to pack it. Obvisously I will put it in an anti-static bag and load it with bubble wrap but are there any other tips when sending graphics cards via mail too insure that it wont get damaged during shipping.

Thanks! :D

Metal rod and some batteries

Just put it in a box with some sort of padding and make it sit firm in the box

id say make sure the sli fingers are covered (assuming its nvidia) and also see what you can do about covering the io ports just to be safe.

Last time I shipped computer components, I had the gpu inside an anti-static, then wrapped in a packing foam sheet. That then went into a box not much larger than the gpu & its wrappings, that box then went into a much larger box with the rest of the stuff & then tons of packing peanuts and bubblewrap. But that was for an entire system. (some of the parts outside of the system to avoid damage in shipping)

For a single gpu? I'd suppose an antistatic bag, bubblewrap, and my favorite would be a closed cell foam padding around the inside of the box just to make sure not much will happen to it. And make absolutely sure everything is packing in there tight, if there's room for it to move around, it will, and that can break it if it gets juttered too much.
