Prototype keeps crashing over Steam

So i got both the Prototype games a while ago and i downloaded the first one last night to plat today but unfortunately when it gets to the first loading screen after making a new game it crashing while loading in the help text in the loading screens.

I thought at first it might be the settings... Nope wasn't them,, Then i thought it just might need to be restarted since its been on for about 30 hours... Nope still nothing 

So at this point I'm out of ideas,, I thought about uninstalling it and reinstalling it but i want to see if anyone else knows something ??

I really want to play the game since i never finished it on PS3
