So I am going to upgrade my MSI Gaming r9 280 to a MSI gamimg gtx 970

But I actually need a good 1080p monitor to use with that gpu but also want a headset...

So I have about $400 now and after selling my r9 280 hope to have $520

Here is my upgrade list:

Now first is this monitor to cheap for a 970? Should I go for a nicer one?

If it's fine should I buy the monitor and wait a couple of weeks to get the clouds or buy the clouds first and save for the monitor?

Finally should I ditch the headphones and just buy a nicer monitor and wait for the headphones?

Btw right now I am using a resolution between 1600x900 and 1920x1080

Also am using $5.00 earbuds so yeh

<p>Wish I could have this already!! : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qTLRjX

it's fine although there are cheaper headphones. I personally use the Superlux 688b's and their incredible costs around 30 to 40 dollars in the u.s I think

get a 144hz screen like a vg248qe (or a Gsync 144hz screen if you have the money), good match for a 970

yes They do a Retractable one. Not the best though but it should work for Skype and others.
