Windows 10

Go to solution Solved by fwdkiller,

Really?, so I just call Microsoft and they will let me reuse the install?

yep i still use the windows 8 that came with 500gb ssd i bought of craislist and the guy gave me a key for it too and i have used it ever since this my 7th install with the same key lol also i haven't a fresh install either so tell them you swap motherboards if it goes to auto than just enter you installation id and than they will give one back not very hard to do,

OEM stays OEM most likely

HI,

I have Windows 8 OEM and hate that it is permanently on my motherboard unless I reinstall a new copy of it, and was wondering if upgrading to windows 10 will make it not OEM?

yes it will , you know that its not permantly on motherboard and i switch motherboards all the time all i have to do is call them and they will reactivate it for me no question ask.
