hey guys, i'm trying to build my first pc and i was wondering if you guys could help me out

i'm on a budget of around $2000 CDN

i want to game with it but i feel that 4K is unrealistic for me and wouldn't mind 1080p or 2K gaming at 60+ fps

my first question is should i buy an expensive CPU (IMO) for example a 5930k or 5820k while keeping the garphics card cheaper (IMO) like 970 or 290x

or should i get a cheaper CPU like a 4690k or FX9590 with a higher end graphics card like a 780 ti or 980/980 ti.

another question is does more cores really offer anything for gaming, eg an amd FX 8350 reportedly performs worse when gaming than a 4690K although th FX has double the cores and clock speed (i heard this from some friends and on some websites)

finally, would it be better if if SLI/Crossfire lower end GPUs instead of Buying one hgh end one?

my two builds that i'm looking at are as follows:

Component   Selection Price   CPU 3e1e53e1c14368995d467c7d0ff1b7e3.med.256 $474.75 Buy CPU Cooler 7cdd6e9ad8fcbd55b14a29f85bfa563d.med.256 $145.05 Buy Motherboard a048f2df2aef5fc6188933088d2da963.med.256 $325.97 Buy Memory ebb1c85e01345b51fb07d9adb6c7a221.med.256 $172.14 Buy Storage 6cd93596c818c7ea8b411fe6b3d0be2b.med.256 $109.99 Buy   eedfdd2dd582adb84bff4e52de2d47f8.med.256 $92.99 Buy Video Card eaa072ab396eb9de47b15bd924720a02.med.256 $408.00 Buy Case cd3878a158bc31cab6424b6ed198e884.med.256 $83.00 Buy Power Supply 571430fabdd343e6caaf262b84fdda34.med.256 $93.99 Buy Total: $1905.88

and

i would appreciate it if you guys offer your own build guides or try tweaking my build.

i want play games like the witcher 3

thaks in advance, Imran16

That but with a 980ti obviously

Wouldn't fit in a 2k CAD budget.

Wth GTA using as much CPU power as it does I don't recommend dropping to an i5 for the upgrade.
