Windows 10

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

So Windows 10 is free on windows 7 (which i have) and windows 8, but does it wipe your system data or does it keep everything from your previous OS and just port it over? please tell me how that works or if i just need to backup all my stuff onto an external drive because i dont want to lose all my storage (does anyone). thanks in advance! BTW i want windows 10 so i can get windows 10 exclusives like Forza 5 and other xbox games.

transfers the data, obviously drivers will need to be updated

I had 7 before, I just did a manual tech preview install, Microsoft will take care of all the file transfers, its always good to backup the files too. Remember, you may not get it when its officially released, the store is okay, I'm not a fan of modern apps too much
