at the moment, it would be cheaper to get two GTX 680s than buying a GTX 690. However, not all games are optimized to support SLI configurations. If you want a single GPU, I would recommend a GTX 780 because the performance of it is very close to the Titan despite the $300 price difference.

At this point, with screens growing in resolution size, and the fact that the 690 has 2GB effective memory, you should buy a GTX 780. Plain and simple.

Viruz, wat r u doin?

Viruz...

...Stahp.

I'm not sure whether you're trying to get the forum to analyze every single computer component available on the market for you, or whether you're trying to be a troll (if so, you're doing badly) or whether you genuinely, seriously, haven't picked up enough of an idea about how hardware works to see what's good value and what isn't... :\

You seriously seem to have issues ordering your PC.

A GTX 690 is not worth it currently, simply because of it's price (in Sweden atleast). Aswell as it's limited VRAM (2GB). For current generation games it is a beast, but if you want to future proof, I would look at GTX 770 4 GB(yes it can use more than 2 GB), GTX 780 or HD7970.

You can always wait for AMD's new cards coming soon aswell. That's personally what I'm doing.

| GPU: GT 650M | CPU: i5-3210M | Excuse my language, sometimes I can be pretty vulgar.

I used to have the same issue, having a hard time to just buy what I wanted and needed. There was always "the new thing around the corner" to wait for.

You just have to realize that new tech comes all the time, there is no slowing down and you need to buy what you need when you need it.
