New CPU

So my friends computer is basically a stock dell computer with a GTX 970 in it and everything else stock. It has 4 GB of ram (one of his 4 GB sticks burned) and a AM3 motherboard(NOT AM3+) and he doesn't want to get a new motherboard so im left with one option... find a CPU that fits AM3. so far ive come up with the phenom X6 1100T, anything better?  

he cant do any better without upgrading his mobo...

 

he would be better off just saving his money

No, the AMD Phenom II X6 1100T is about as good as it gets for AM3

yeah well he is a rich kid and doesn't really like messing with his computer even though he knows as much as i do... it really make me want to come over to his house and just babysit his computer for him..
