On ear headphones are notoriously uncomfortable. There are very few exceptions.

yeah, ive bumped up the price class a bit, looking at the sony XB950BT's. i am really a basshead so i need something with bass

 

Do they need to be on the smaller side for portability concerns, or would a studio-sized headphone work?
