I have been a gamer for years, but never really thought about buying any real gaming mice. Never actually had any trouble playing with my cheap microsoft and logitech mice, and never really had too much money to spend in that direction, being to young and not making my own money.

Recently a good friend bought a Razer Naga, and another one bought the Logitech G600, after fooling around for a while with those two mice, i was totaly blown away! I've been searching for a good mouse since then, but even though i can understand the differences, I don't really know what would fit my needs! And here is where i need quite some help!

So, I ve been using a hole lot of mice over the years, big, small, heavy, light, wired, unwired... I can addapt to any size and weight of mice, so i don't really know if I prefer the claw grip, or a palm grip. I did feel very comfortable since the first second with the G600 though.

For the kinds of games I play, it will mostly be RPGs, right know I'm cheking through Diablo III and Path of exile, a few months ago (and for almost 3 years), I was smashing mice and keyboards over Dungeons and Dragons online. Of course, in between i play other games too, not always being MMO or MOBA or anything strickly. Also, I always have some offlines games to play whenever I want to take a pause from whatever i play at the time, those games varying from simple platform games to Far Cry, Hitman, Prototype,GTA and antything you can think of.

I did love the buttons on the Naga and the G600, but on the other hand, I don't think that many buttons will actually be usefull... For diablo, 4 extra buttons will do and i really don't see why having 12 thumb buttons. But still, ,why go as low as 2 thumb buttons? (like Deathadder for example)

As for the tiniest but still most important thing, the money! I do not have too much money to spend! I do want to go for a Naga or a G600, but right now I cant. If I decide to buy on eof those I will have to be a little patient and save up some money. But if nothing at a lower price is worth it for me, I will gladly wait some tie before buying!

So, any more info needed?

I really apriciate any help and discution!

I don't like CMs mice a lot to be honest, and at that kind of price I can get the g600, wich I have used and feel quite comfortable with!

But in overal, I would like more help to guide me through my needs, and realize what kind of mouse I need, rather than mice names. Apriciate both thouh!

CM is Cooler Master. You mean Corsair?

I think he was referring to the M90 rather than the M60, which is actually a fair bit cheaper for some reason ($50).

Assuming you actually meant Corsair, consider CM Storm's Recon mouse. It has the best sensor on the market, 4 side buttons (two on each side) and it's pretty cheap, too. Only downside is that the software takes some grappling with.

Edit: Actually if you don't play much FPS, CM Storm's Inferno mouse might be worth a look too.

Yes, of course i meant Corsair. Dunno why I did such a mistake... :P

The M90 is quite more intresting though, but are those thumb keys comfortable to work with? It's a pretty crazy patern, would it be easy to memorize possitions?

Its only about 5-10 euro cheaper than the g600 and naga though, so i say they are the same price range, I wouldn't buy it for beeing cheaper but for being an overaly better mouse. Do you think it could be considered familiar with those too and have any chance standing against them? Having less DPI doesn't bother me, I will surely not go all the way up, being used to having a simple 800dpi mouse i think anything above 3600 will be more than enought!

As for the CM, it looks like a prety neat mouse. Didn't know about that one! I'll check more on it later, I don't have much time right now. And I see the company has more mice and even cheap ones, i'll chech in to that!

Sorry, I don't know how it compares to the Naga/G700. Corsair, Razer and Logitech are probably my 3 least favourite peripherals companies, so it'd be hard to pick between them for me. I do seem to remember hearing that the side buttons on the M90 are easier to feel around than they look, though.

Sad thing is that I can't go out to the shops and check it out... No shops with such level periferals where I live...

The more I look at the m90, the more I like it, but the layout is really giving me nightmares...!

Do we have any opinion on the CM Xornet? It's very cheap, a little low on DPI and don't have that many buttons, but maybe it's a good mouse to start with, until I can afford a better one. And I also get some time to know what I need!

Anyone know anything about some natex mice I run into?
