1366 socket motherboards

Does anyone know a company that sells a motherboard for Dual xeon processors (1366 socket) that supports PCIe 3.0 and SATA III? I have been searching without any luck.

Why are you looking at Xeons? I hope it's either for a server or workstation.

pcie 2.0 and sata 3 supported by crappy third party chipsets. try again.

You won't find any because there aren't any. The processors for 1366 are to old.

To be clear ... there are no LGA 1366 Motherboards with PCIe 3.0

The first motherboards with PCIe 3.0 came with the Sandy Bridge-E based Xeon and i7 processors and the LGA 1356 and LGA2011 sockets.

You don't even need PCIE 3.0 seriously. Makes NO difference, even with the most extravagant graphics setup you can pull from the heavens, no difference that's noticeable. 

 

SATA 2 is livable. Are you sure you're not just hunting for the latest tech for no obvious reason? Stuff like PCIE3 is basically just a thing that people put on boxes to sell it to lesser knowing persons who throw money at a "DX 11 graphics card" cause it's cutting edge and fast, even though they end up getting sold a gt630. ;)

Thank you MrSuperb.  That was what I was looking for.  I need to upgrade my current dual xeon workstation and wanted to upgrade to dual SS drives with SATA 3.  Guess I'll have to settle with PCIe 2.0.
