So i have this Samsung netbook and for whatever reason i just can't get it to boot a windows installation from USB. I've tried YUMI, Rufus etc. Anyway i was wondering if i could just put the hard drive into a different computer and install windows onto it from there and then plug it back into the netbook once the installation is done?

It seems like this would work but i'm not sure if there are any changes made in the windows files during the OS installation according to the hardware being used while installing windows or does all of that come afterwards during driver installation?

It might work, but probably won't - particularly if the architectures of the chips are different.
