What SLI is better?

Want to know what SLI is better, 4 way SLI Asus GTX 680 4GB or 4 way SLI Asus Matrix 7970 P all water cooled.

The monitor configuration is 3x Asus VG278HE Black 27" 144Hz

You shouldn't worry about stuttering either, since Dynamic V-Sync will take care of it even better than Adaptive V-Sync .

You will need to download RadeonPro though.

It might be difficult to find a waterblock for the Matrix cards.

The 7970s will outperform 680s at that res, no contest.

But I'd stick to 3 cards..

EK are making a waterblock for the matrix if you can stomach their horrible CSQ design.

I don't think there's a motherboard that supports 4 way cfx with triple slot cards... The Asus Matrix 7970 is an awesome card, but most 4 way MB's are set up for 4 double slot cards. I don't think putting a water block on is going to change that either, unless you dremel the outer slot off of each of the cards after installing the block.
