Looking for a new laptop

I am looking for a new laptop. I will be using it for school work at the university, gaming and also photo and video editing.

I will be preferably shopping at http://www.computeruniverse.net/

I am willing to spend up to 1000€.

 

This laptop caught my eye recently: http://www.computeruniverse.net/products/90580769/msi-ge70-2pei742sfd.asp

I would be putting in an HDD which I have laying around and would be definitely adding some ram, which I would buy at a local store.

What do you think about this laptop, and do you think it is good or should I get something else.

that's a good one , i'm sure there are    acer , hp , lenovo and ASUS alternatives but it looks OK , you definietly need to buy additional 4gb of ram for that system .

I'd leave the ssd where it is , and use an external hdd

If I'm not mistaken the SSD is a mSATA one, but I could be wrong. I could also get a cheap enclosure to use my HDD as an external one anyway.
