Can i get a modem / router in my room?

Go to solution Solved by Colt_0pz,

get a powerline, a switch, and plug everything in and call it a day

Ok, so here is my issue...

My parents are getting the modem moved out of their room into the kitchen even thought the office and my room is at the other end of the house.

Is there any way i can either get my own modem in my bedroom that connected as part of a split from the main line that comes into the house (the other part of the split would go to the modem in the kitchen).

Or

Do i have to get a single cable coming from the modem in the kitchen so i can connect my PC to it (i'd like to have my xbone connected and my ps4 too.

if you guys have any solutions that you can help me with then that would be super great

(also im sorry if i used the wrong words (modem/router/booster)

im in Australia so the connection isn't great in any case don't really want to lower my connection speed if i can.

-SNIP-

You could run an ethernet cable from the router/modem units over to your room and have a switch or router in bridge mode to split the connectivity to all your devices.
