32 inch monitor for productivity?

I am looking for a 32 inch monitor for mostly work ie, programming, web design. I will be doing some gaming but nothing competitive or serious. What are my options? My budget is around 700 USD but something cheaper would be great.

Instead of a huge monitor I feel like it would be more cost effective and more productive to have two monitors. What do you think?

I already have a 24 inch. I'm going to flip this one to portrait and get another one.
