Hey guys!  At first I wanted to only do an upgrade but then I decided on building a new system with the purpose of moving from 1200p gaming to 1440p. I am trying to pick parts that make sense in bang/buck and not just throw money at it. Also, it needs to be as silent as possible.

I am especially worried about the display as there's really not a lot of options and I would really, REALLY want an IPS (I currently have a DELL 24" IPS and I don't know if I could bear losing color/contrast quality).

Also, I'm not in a rush so if there's something around the corner that I'm not aware of but would impact the build, I would consider waiting for it.

Otherwise, any feedback is much appreciated, thank you!

No 212 Evo please. Get a Be Quiet! Pure Rock http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA68V2326642

The R5 is fine. other good silent cases is the Be Quiet! Silent Base 800

i would recommend an MSI Twin Frozr V cooler. they're quiet as hell

the PSU is meh.. get something like an EVGA Supernova GS or a Corsair RMi, or just a fanless  PSU

that monitor almost takes up half of your budget lol

whats your budget?

Not bad, though get a better cooler.

While the H440 isn't as quiet as the R5 or Silent Base 800, if you splurge on getting quieter stuff (I.E No HDDs, Be Quiet! Silent Wings 2 fans, a not very loud AiO CPU Water cooler, and a GPU that isn't loud either.] The H440 is a nice case.

The H100i is sort of loud but as one person mentioned it sounds like a plane taking off from the cabin.
