SSD Speed leak

I upgrated my old computer HP Compaq 8100 Elite with Kingston HyperX 3K ssd, becouse my motherboard don't have 3.0 sata i bought SATA 3.0 controller and SATA 3.0 data cable. I dont know why i have speed leak ? My ssd is running with 2.0 speed. Please help !

Does the controller come with driver software? It may need to be installed. SATA cables can transfer at whatever speed the SATA spec is. Does the controller have a BIOS you can get it before the PC boots to Windows? How are you testing that you only have SATA II speeds?

It doesnt come with cd drivers. I benchmark it and it was like a error screen with the message. You are using your ssd with 2.0 speed.

yeah, i could buy a new computer too. It should go away. Common

I'm saying it's janky as hell and probably only has sata R2 on it, despite being advertised as R3.
