Hi

I recently decided to build my first gaming pc, i have a list of ckmponents but am woried that they might not be compatible or may not be the best ones i can get, i have a budget of 500 pounds/dollars and would really like some help.

This is what i have so far:

Motherboard: asus 1150 z97-c, atx

Proccesor: amd fx6300

Ram: crucial 8gb sports ballistix

Power supply: cmx 600w (corsair)

Graphics card: evga nvidia gtx750 ti

Hard drive: weston digital 1tb 3.5 inch drive (blue)

Could anyone tell me if i need to upgrade anything (minimum 1080p+ gaming) or if i can cheap out anywere and get a lower end version (or if anything wont work/missing)

Thanks alot

Jack

That motherboard processor combo won't work.

That's an intel socket motherboard and an AMD processor.

You'll have to change one or the other.

Apart from that looks fine :)

And i may overclock

I'd use these:

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-491-GI

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-540-IN

They'll work together, you'll be able to overclock and it'll perform better than the FX6300...

Not sure if they'll fit in your budget though.

If not, find an i3 1150 socket to fit your budget.

That motherboard will work with either processor (i3 or i5)
