I was intending on getting the XFX 7870 XT from aria PC but they have sold out the day I get paid(my luck) and the price has been put up as well!

I am looking for another source of this card or a card that will perform the same/better for the same price.

My budget is as cheap as possible for under £700 but I really don't want to spend £700!

So far I have spent £256.78 and all I need now is: Case | CPU | GPU.

I know I am getting the i5 4670k and I am just waiting for a bid to complete and I plan to get it for around £150. Therefore making overall spent around £406.78 and I know the case I want(Zalman Z11 +) will cost around £50, so the overall spendings are £456.75 roughly. Meaning I have around 200ish to play with.

All and any suggestions accepted and thank you!

I5 4670k | 7870 Tahiti LE | 1600MHz 2x4GB

I have decided to go for the VTX3D 7870 Tahiti in order to get water cooling for my CPU

Is this a good choice? And if so what's a good liquid cooler up to £70?

Corsair H80i, or better yet, get a Noctua NH-D14, cools just as well as a noctua H100i but costs less & you don't have to worry about the pump failing or the tubes leaking.

Better yet, get the 7950, a faster graphics card will always give you more game performance than a faster CPU.

I have decided on my build:

i5 4670k

1600MHz Corsair Ram 1x8GB

MSI Z87M-G43

VTX3D 7870 Tahiti LE

Corsair H80i

500GB 7200RPM SATA3 HDD

Zalman Z11+

LiteOn iHAS DVD Drive

Corsair CX500.

All for £665.10. All I need to do is cancel my 212 EVO I ordered and change it for the H80i!

Games are RARELY CPU intensive, a faster GPU is ALWAYS better than a faster CPU for games, if you're buying the H80 for aesthetics there are other ways you can go about doing that, 4670K + EVO + 7950 is going to be significantly faster than 4670K + H80 + 7870 Tahiti LE, AND you get more VRAM, Far Cry 3 already uses up 1500mb+ on my 7970, so it's just a matter of time before that 2GB of memory on the 7870 Tahiti LE becomes insufficient.

Something along these lines^

I would recommend cutting a bit back on the cpu/mobo for an ssd for much better overall performance.

I would recommend the Sapphire Dual-X 7950/MSI Twin Frozr 3 7950/ HIS IceQ X2 7950 because these cards are great overclocking cards. I would go with the one that is cheapest.
